Irina & Alan - First Dance & Wedding Recap

Irina & Alan were married on 21st February 2009 at Old St Paul's. Following the ceremony and some group photos at the Parliament Buildings, the guests were transported by buses to the gorgeous Pencarrow Lodge in Eastbourne for the Reception.

Irina & Alan arrived at Pencarrow Lodge by helicopter and enjoyed a wonderful evening with their guests. When it came time for their First Dance, everyone watched in amazement as Irina & Alan performed a beautiful routine.

Irina says: "We were relieved that after four weeks of practice the dance came together without any glitches- Especially that Alan didn't drop me.

After 18 months of planning, everything came together perfectly for our wedding day. Even the tropical cyclone the day before was lifted and we were treated to wonderful weather. Thank you to everyone for making it such a special day. We will truly remember it for the rest of our lives."

This is an extract from their wedding video, showing their truly beautiful First Dance, and also the highlights of the day. The stunning photos below were taken by Rob Driessen, you can view more of Irina & Alan's wedding photos here. It was a pleasure to work with Rob again, we always have a lot of fun filming on his shoots.

We wish Irina & Alan all the best for their future, and thank them for allowing us to share this incredibly special day with them. Please feel free to leave a comment.

The Wellington Wedding Show

It's not long to go till Wellington's BIGGEST Wedding Show at The Overseas Terminal in Chaffers Marina - May 2nd & 3rd.
This will be our 4th year exhibiting at this show, we absolutely love meeting all the brides, grooms, and their family & friends. We will be showcasing clips from our recent wedding videos, and I'm making a visit back from Sydney especially for the show - so come along to meet us!

If you haven't decided whether to attend, I thoroughly recommend it! Even if you've planned a lot of the aspects of your day already, there may be things you find that you'd forgotten about, or ideas for something new to include. The Wellington Wedding Show was a big help to my husband and I when we were planning our wedding. It's such a great way to see all the different wedding services directly, all in one place, and to give you lots of ideas! I recommend coming on Saturday evening because on Sunday it can get very busy - and remember to allow yourself a couple of hours to have a good look at everything.

We get a lot of our bookings at the Wedding Show, so if you are still considering having us as your videographers for your upcoming wedding, you will need to book soon to secure your wedding date.
View the Wellington Wedding Show website for more information about who will be exhibiting, as well as some tips and articles to help with planning your wedding. We hope you come along, and make sure you look out for us in the Caravella Lounge on the 1st Floor - and come & say Hi. We'd love to see you there.
The Overseas Terminal, Chaffers Marina

Kiri & Cameron - Wedding Recap

Kiri & Cameron were married on 31st January 2009. Their ceremony was held at St Gerard's Monastery in Mount Victoria, which is a well-known church for it's prominent place in the Wellington landscape. Their reception was held at The Boat Shed on Wellington Waterfront.

Wellington put on beautiful weather for Kiri & Cameron, and it was a hot day for their photoshoot. Photographers Chris McCarthy and Melanie Dixon of Wellington Photographers worked hard and fast to get lots of stunning pictures throughout the day. While the bridal party were on their photoshoot, we filmed the guests enjoying the sun at The Boat Shed. Chris managed to take this great photo (left) of one of our videographers Fran, and caught her slightly off-guard! You can view the other photos Chris & Melanie took of Kiri and Cameron here.

We'd like to thank Kiri and Cameron for asking us to share this special day with them. This is a recap of their wedding day, to the 1950's jazz song by Nina Simone "My Baby Just Cares For Me." We hope you like it!
