Sarah & Andrew - Wedding Recap

Sarah & Andrew were married on 29^th January 2011. This date marked the wedding anniversary for Sarah’s parents and also Sarah’s grandparents – so the date has special meaning now for 3 generations.

Their ceremony and reception were both held at Coney Wines in Martinborough. The weather was lovely, the day was intimate and relaxed shared with close family and friends. A main feature of the day was the stunning 1952 MG which belonged to Sarah’s grandfather and has been in the family for a long time. Her grandparents have passed away, so both the wedding date and the car were a really nice way to include them both in the day.

It was great to work with our friend Adrian De La Fuente and his team at Duo Photography again. As usual his style produced some stunning photographs, some of which we have shared with you below – making a special feature of that great car.

Sarah and Andrew, we wish you all the best for your future together and hope that your video brings back treasured memories of what will always be a very special day. Thanks for allowing us to share this with you.

Kate & Mark - Wedding Highlights

Kate & Mark were married on 22nd January 2011 at Erskine in Island Bay. This is one of our favourite locations as the scenery is just stunning - the outside has a historic almost "haunted" look, but the chapel is so bright and welcoming. The gardens and surrounding areas provide excellent photo opportunities and the reception area is grand and majestic.

The following Cinematic Highlights for Kate & Mark shows the varied emotions throughout the day; their tearful vows, the fun and laughter they shared during their photoshoot, and the cherished moments with their family & friends. We hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it.

Jessica & Daryl - Wedding Recap

Jessica & Daryl were married on 7th January 2011 at St Andrew's On The Terrace in Wellington. It was a beautiful and romantic ceremony, followed by their reception at the Massey University Campus (formerly the National Museum).

Photographer Kate MacPherson produced some absolutely stunning images of the day, some of which are showcased below. The reception entertainment provided by Shaun Preston was also exceptional.

Diane & Peter - Wedding Highlights

The first of our 2011 weddings was for Diane & Peter who were married on Sunday 2nd January at their lovely home in Waikanae. This was a very special day for Diane & Peter, as they explain in their highlights clip, and it was made even more special by having their children as members of the bridal party.

The weather was beautiful for their outdoor ceremony, the day was casual and relaxed - everything Diane had dreamed it would be.

100 Pipers Christchurch Earthquake Appeal Concert

Pipers and Drummers from around New Zealand used their musical talents to benefit those in need after last Tuesday’s earthquake in Christchurch.  

Due to the recent tragedy which has affected many in the Canterbury region, the Royal New Zealand Pipe Band Association have cancelled the New Zealand and South Pacific Pipe Band Championships which were to be held in Timaru during the weekend of 5/6th March 2011.

Around 1500 bandspeople were set to compete in the Championships, which are the highlight of the pipe band calendar in New Zealand.  Wellington, Red Hackle, Paraparaumu and Scots College, combined with the Manawatu Scottish Pipe Band and reigning New Zealand champions, the Auckland and District Pipe Band, rallied together to organise a fundraising concert for the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal that was held in the Capital on Saturday 5th. 

The concert, 100 Pipers, was an evening of pipe band music, showcasing the combined talents of six bands who are on the top of their game after months of preparation for the Championships. Special guests made an appearance and the concert had something for everyone. Crystal Clear Productions was proud to have been asked to film the event.

A DVD will shortly be on sale on our web site at http://www.crystalclearproductions.co.nz/ and the proceeds will go to the Red Cross Earthquake Appeal Fund.

Pekina & Chico - Wedding Highlights

Every wedding day is special and a day to remember for the rest of your life. But Pekina and Chico's wedding will be especially memorable as she celebrates the day every year on her birthday!

Pekina & Chico were married on Saturday 23rd October 2010. It was an emotional day, Pekina shed a few tears as she put her dress on, and as she joined Chico at the end of the aisle while he sung to her. Their ceremony was held at the AOG Church in Porirua, and their reception with 400 guests was held at the Aufaga Hall in Porirua.

The large bridal party had a lot of fun, especially on their photoshoot and they got to travel around in the large pink hummer limo.

Shelley-Anne & Matthew - Wedding Recap

Shelley-Anne and Matthew were married on Saturday 9th October 2010 at Wellington's historic Old St Paul's Church. Although there was some typical Wellington wind, it didn't dampen anyones spirits and the bridal party looked gorgeous and bright in their pink dresses for the girls and pink ties for the boys, that beautifully matched Shelley-Anne's flowers.

Their reception was held at The Boatshed on the Wellington Waterfront which was beautifully set up, and as the sun went down behind them the guests partied well into the evening.

Kelly & Michael Wedding Recap

Happy New Year everyone!

Our 2010/2011 Wedding Season started in October and we've been busy ever since. The first wedding we filmed this year was for Kelly & Michael on Sunday 3rd October. Wellington put on a beautiful sunny Spring day for their outdoor ceremony at Gear Homestead. Their photoshoot was also stunning and we have included some photos from Lisa Wilson Photography below. It was great to work with Lisa, and also our friends from Silkworm Events who co-ordinated the day and the gorgeous styling for Kelly & Michael.

Jen & Joe - Wedding Highlights

Jen and Joe came over from Australia for their wedding on Friday 30th April 2010 at St Alban's Church in Pauatahanui. Although the sun was shining beautifully, the wind was at it's strongest on the top of the hill - but that led to some great moments outside the church. Thankfully Jen's veil held strong!

After the ceremony and the photoshoot with FineLine Photography (see some of their beautiful photos below), the couple met their guests at Boomrock in Ohariu Valley for their reception. For regular readers of our blog you will know we just love filming at Boomrock with it's stunning views and this day was no different!

Throughout the day it was evident just how in love Jen and Joe are, and how happy they were to be celebrating their love with their closest family and friends. We'd like to thank Jen and Joe for asking us to be a part of their special day, and we wish them all the best for their future ahead. We hop you enjoy the highlights of their wedding day.

Yana & Craig - Wedding Recap

Yana & Craig were married on 10th April 2010. Their ceremony was held at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Thorndon, followed by a sentimental Dove Release ceremony outside.

After the photoshoot with FineLine Photography at some iconic Wellington locations, they headed out by Hummer Limo to Wallaceville House in Upper Hutt for their reception. The dinner, speeches and cake cutting led to an entertaining choreographed "surprise" dance by Yana & Craig - a great treat to all! Their first dance is in full in the second video below.

We wish Yana and Craig all the best for their future, and thank them for allowing us to be a part of their wedding. Here is the recap of their day.
