Welcome to the world Millie!

We love to hear updates from our couples after their wedding. Angelina and Dan were one of our clients in 2007 when they got married in August at The Pines. We wish them a huge CONGRATULATIONS on the birth of their first child, Millie.

Millie Jeanette Hunt was born on the 11th of Feb, and weighed 4.06 kgs (9lbs). She arrived 18 days late and put her mother through quite an ordeal, but as you can see she was totally worth the wait!

She is just gorgeous and we wish Mum, Dad and Millie all the best. Here's a couple of pics taken just minutes after Millie was welcomed into the world.

Wedding Video Music Selections

Choosing the music for your wedding DVD is just as important as choosing the music for your wedding day. It can be a daunting task, and lots of our couples ask for help with ideas. So we've put together a Song List of over 350 songs to give you some ideas to start from.

The Song List has been added to the list of links on the right hand column of our blog. Feel free to use it to help you select the music for your wedding video, or for your big day. You can still request songs that aren't on this list, or use the same song by a different artist, or a different song by the same artist.

The style of music you choose is completely up to you, and should reflect the two of you. The songs don't have to be love songs, and they don't have to be slow. To give your video a good Kiwi feel, you could select a lot of great NZ Music. You can use some recent modern songs by artists such as Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz and Colbie Callat so whenever you watch your video you are reminded of this time in your life. Or you can use some classic songs that have stood the test of time by artists such as Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra and Nina Simone.

If you really can't decide, let us choose the music we think suits your video the best.

Nadia & Nathan - Wedding Recap

Nadia & Nathan were married on 5th January 2009 at St Albans Church, Pauatahanui. This was followed by a beautiful Butterfly Release and a Reception at Gear Homestead.

It was great to work with our good friends at
Silkworm Events who did a fantastic job. It was also great to work with photographer Simon Woolf and the team at Gear Homestead.

Congratulations to Nadia and Nathan, and thanks so much for allowing us to share your day with you.

Laura & Jamie - 3rd January 2009

We love filming at Old St Paul's Church, the dark wooden interior gives it a very mystical yet romantic feel. We don't use any intrusive lighting, and just capture the atmosphere as it is. As you will see below, it has a stunning effect on video.

Our first wedding for 2009 was for Laura and Jamie. Their ceremony at Old St Paul's Church was really special and included a song sung by their Bridesmaid Michelle. This is a short recap of their day.

Thanks to Laura and Jamie for allowing us to be a part of their day. Congratulations to you both!
